1. Who you’re contracting with
These Terms are between you (or the clinic you represent) and Vetch Health Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales. If you’re using Vetch on behalf of a clinic, you confirm you have authority to bind that clinic to these terms.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You’re responsible for all activity under your account, including the actions of your staff and authorised users.
- Keep credentials confidential and notify us immediately at security@vetch.vet if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription, fees, and renewal
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each term unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days before the renewal date.
- Fees are stated in your order form. Vetch may adjust prices for upcoming renewal periods with at least 60 days’ notice.
- Late payments accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.
- Refunds are issued only as expressly stated in the order form or required by law. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected where applicable.
4. Acceptable use
Your use of Vetch is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
5. Customer data
You own the data you submit to Vetch. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it solely to provide the service to you. We will not sell your data, and we will not train shared AI models on it. Our processing of personal data is governed by our Data Processing Addendum, which is incorporated by reference for customers in scope.
6. Intellectual property
Vetch (the software, models, designs, documentation, and trade marks) is owned by Vetch Health Ltd. and its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. Feedback you give us is licensed back to us royalty-free so we can use it to improve Vetch.
7. AI features
Vetch uses machine-learning models to draft notes, suggest actions, and answer questions. Outputs are drafts. The licensed veterinary professional is responsible for reviewing and signing all clinical decisions, charts, prescriptions, and invoices. Vetch does not practise veterinary medicine.
8. Service levels and changes
We aim for 99.9% monthly availability and publish status at status.vetch.vet. We may modify, add, or retire features. Material reductions in functionality will be announced at least 60 days in advance.
9. Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of written notice. We may suspend access immediately to protect the service, other customers, or to comply with law. On termination, we will make customer data available for export for 60 days, then delete it from production systems within 30 days (subject to backup retention windows).
10. Warranty disclaimer
Except as expressly stated, the service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vetch disclaims all implied warranties, including satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms affects your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is capped at the fees paid (or payable) by Customer to Vetch in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnification
Vetch will defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that the service infringes a valid UK or EU patent, registered copyright, or trade mark, subject to standard carve-outs. You will defend and indemnify Vetch against claims arising from your data, your violation of law, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information using reasonable care, and use it only to perform under these Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, excluding its conflict of laws principles. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, and each party consents to that exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. Material changes are announced via email to active customers and take effect 30 days after notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
