1. Don’t do these things
You may not use Vetch to:
- Violate the law, infringe rights, or facilitate either.
- Practice veterinary medicine without a valid license, or impersonate a licensed professional.
- Sign clinical records, prescriptions, or orders that haven’t been reviewed by a licensed veterinarian — Vetch drafts; the vet signs.
- Send unsolicited marketing or commercial messages through the platform’s comms tools.
- Upload malware, exploits, or content intended to interfere with Vetch or any other system.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission, or breach security or authentication measures.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it at scale, or use it to train competitive AI models.
- Resell, sublicense, or share access in ways that conflict with your subscription.
2. Content standards
Don’t upload or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that violates someone’s privacy or intellectual property. Use the comms tools the way you’d use a clinic phone or email — clearly identified, professional, opt-out respected.
3. Security responsibilities
- Use unique credentials and enable multi-factor authentication for every staff account.
- Tell us within 24 hours if you suspect unauthorized access: security@vetch.vet.
- Don’t share access tokens or API keys outside your organization.
4. Automated traffic and APIs
APIs are rate-limited and intended to support normal clinical workflows and integrations. Don’t use them to crawl, mirror, or extract bulk data outside the documented export flows.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is misusing Vetch — phishing through our domain, scraping content, sending unwanted messages — email abuse@vetch.vet with details. We investigate every report.
6. Enforcement
We may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. For urgent threats — active malware, ongoing security incidents, court orders — we’ll act first and notify promptly afterward. Termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to a refund.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always at this URL.
